How this platform verifies things

Most cannabis directories are built on self-attested data and paid placement. This one is built on public state registries and consent. Here is exactly how, stated plainly — including how to dispute anything.

Business listings

Licensed-business listings come from public state license registries, re-synced nightly, with the sync time and a freshness score shown on each record. We cannot list an unlicensed business as licensed — the directory is generated from government data, not sales calls. Businesses not in registry data (ancillary or pre-license) are marked accordingly and are reviewed by a human before publishing; pre-license profiles carry a visible “Pre-License (Building)” label and never appear in licensed-only results.

Wholesale buyer verification

Volume pricing is visible only to buyers whose license number matches an active record in state registry data — not a self-attested checkbox. Marijuana listings unlock same-state only (cannabis cannot cross state lines). Verification lasts 30 days per device.

These figures measure how recently we pulled each record from its source. A pull is a check against the publisher — it is not a re-verification of the underlying fact, and it is not a claim that the registry published anything new.

Stale sources display in red rather than being hidden — if a state feed breaks, you will see it here before we do damage control. Method: registry values are copied verbatim, imports abort on anomaly rather than guess, and absence is only acted on from a full snapshot.

This is a copy of a public record, not a legal opinion. A status shown here is what the issuing registry published at the time we last pulled it — it is not a determination that a license is valid, in good standing, or safe to rely on today, and registry data can lag or contain errors. Confirm with the issuing authority before acting on it.

Data methodology

License records are copied verbatim from registry sources on a nightly schedule with abort-on-anomaly guards (a source that returns malformed or truncated data is skipped, never guessed). Status changes are kept as history, not overwritten. When we correct data, the correction is logged. We never publish owner personal names, personal emails, personal phone numbers, or home addresses from registries — owner-consented business contact details (hours, website) come only from claimed dashboards.

Reviews

Every review is moderated before it appears. Medical and therapeutic claims are never published. One review per reviewer per business per 30 days. Businesses can respond publicly but cannot pay to remove reviews — there is no such product here, at any price.

Advertising

Paid placements exist in exactly three zones, are always labeled “Sponsored,” and never alter organic rankings, verification badges, or review scores. Awards and Verified badges cannot be bought.
