Neutrality Charter
The structural promises that make our rankings, reviews, and data honest — written so anyone can test them.
1. We never touch the plant.
This platform is an ancillary information business. We hold no cannabis licenses, own no inventory, and take no custody of any product, anywhere, ever.
2. Nothing is bought or sold here.
No carts, no orders, no payments for product, no ticketing. When you leave to transact, you deal directly with a licensed business on their own site. We are the map, never the store.
3. Flat fees only — no commissions, ever.
Businesses pay flat listing and subscription fees. We take no percentage of any sale, no success fees, no introduction fees, no referral cuts from banks, brokers, or anyone else. If our fee scaled with your transaction, our neutrality would be for sale.
4. Money never moves rankings.
Search results and directory order are computed from data — never from spend. Paid placement exists, is labeled ("Featured — paid placement"), is capped, and never affects what gets listed or how organic results rank.
5. Every review is moderated; none can be bought.
Reviews require an account, pass automated and human moderation, carry verification badges only when a relationship is proven, and are never removed for a fee. Businesses can respond publicly; they cannot pay to erase.
6. Data comes from public records, and says exactly how current it is.
License data originates from state registries. Every record shows its source and the time we last pulled that record from it, plus a freshness grade that measures the age of that pull and decays on its own. We publish when we last looked — we never present a scheduled job as proof that a particular record was checked, and where we cannot establish a date we print "not established" instead of a placeholder. A public-record status is not a legal opinion.
7. We publish our changes.
When a license flips status, renews, or first appears in a registry, the change is logged publicly with a date. Our change ledger is append-only; we do not rewrite history.
8. Personal information from registries stays out.
State files sometimes include owners' personal emails and phone numbers. We strip them at import. Contact happens through owner-controlled profiles, with consent, or not at all.
9. No medical claims — from us or anyone on the platform.
Every content surface is linted against therapeutic claims. Strain and cannabinoid pages are educational references, not medical advice.
10. Consumers never pay.
Every consumer-facing surface on this platform is free, without an account requirement for reading. Our customers are businesses buying visibility and data — never shoppers buying access.
