What this platform is
An independent, ancillary data platform for the US cannabis industry: 8,524 government-registry license records across 21 jurisdictions, re-pulled from their sources by a scheduled import job whose per-record ages we publish, with public change detection, multi-state operator rollups, a 9,222-strain reference library, business directory, jobs board, and industry event calendar. It sells nothing, ships no product, takes no commissions, and charges flat fees only. See the Neutrality Charter.
Before you cite a count: a license record is one license as published by one state registry — not one business. One company can hold many licenses across types and states, so these counts are not company counts, not dispensary counts, and not market-size figures. For comparison, the same database holds 4,739 distinct company profiles. Coverage figures grow when we wire an additional source, which is not the same as the market growing.
How current is this, exactly?
We run a scheduled re-pull job. That is not the same as every record being checked every day, so we publish the record ages rather than the schedule.
