Moby Dick

Moby Dick is a sativa-dominant hybrid from Barcelona-based Dinafem Seeds, released in the late 2000s from a cross of White Widow and Haze. The name invokes the famous fictional white whale, a nod both to its White Widow parent and to the strain's outsized plants and harvests. It became one of the most grown European seed strains of its era, a coffeeshop and grow-guide fixture, and it circulates in US markets primarily through seed-grown flower and its several catalog variants.

Profile

Plants finish with long, heavy colas of medium density, light green with generous frost and thin amber pistils. The aroma is commonly described as citrus and pine over incense-like Haze spice, with faint eucalyptus and vanilla accents. Flavor tends toward zesty citrus and spice with a dry, herbal finish. Terpinolene, myrcene, and pinene are among the terpenes most frequently reported in lab testing of flower grown from the seed line. The profile is classic European Haze updated with Widow resin density.
