Jealousy is a balanced hybrid bred by Seed Junky Genetics, combining two cultivars from within the breeder's own Sherbet and Gelato-descended lines. It was named Leafly's Strain of the Year in 2022, a recognition that significantly increased its visibility on dispensary menus across multiple states. Jealousy has also become a common breeding parent in its own right, most notably as one component of the later cross Permanent Marker.
